Verizon has officially announced the release date of the Motorola DROID RAZR HD and its thicker brother, the RAZR MAXX HD. They say it’s coming October 18th, the same day it was rumored to launch.
To refresh your memory, the DROID RAZR HD is a 4.7″ device with a 720p display a 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor, an 8MP camera, and it’s built with Gorilla Glass, Kevlar, and even a water-repellant nanocoating. And if you spring for the RAZR MAXX HD, you also get a massive battery with “up to 32 hours of normal use” and 32GB of storage instead of 16GB.
The DROID RAZR HD will be $199.99 on contract on Verizon, while the RAZR MAXX HD will be $299.99. The HD will be available in both black and white, while the MAXX HD will only be available in black. 7 more days and you can get yours!
