Big Cola may be a funny sounding name, but the brand is bringing out the big guns. They’re offering a 5″ Android phone for only 999 yuan, or about $160. And unlike most phones at that price point, it packs a punch. With its weakest point being the display, it still manages to offer a 5″ qHD 960×640 screen at the same 3:2 ratio as older iDevices. It also includes a dual core processor at 1 GHz, 1GB of RAM, 4GB ROM, a 5MP BSI camera sensor, front facing camera, 2,450 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
It has a microSD card slot for up to 32GB of storage expansion, and dual SIM slots. But what’s most interesting about the device is the ability to run 3 ROMs, allowing users to switch between them. It’s an interesting concept.
With the aesthetics of the Samsung Galaxy Note II (with a little more bezel), some decent specs, and a low price tag, I can’t say this is a bad device. Would you ever get one? Tell us what you think about it in the comments!
