Google Will Release A Physical Google Wallet Card Soon

It looks like Google Wallet is getting better, and fast. The physical Google Wallet card is nigh. It’ll work like a regular bank card, just swipe and go. It will work anywhere that accepts credit cards, and it will use the default card in your Google Wallet account. This means that you won’t ever have to carry all your cards around, just one card and your phone. Sounds amazing. You can get one shipped to you through the Google Wallet app (the leaked one, not the current one). So when the update is released, it should be as easy as ordering one through the app.

Also included in this leaked version are transit cards, withdrawing money from your Wallet balance, and money transfers to people. Google Wallet is becoming a system to do it all, not just NFC payments, and I love it. I love the idea of a host of payment methods in Google’s hands, delivered in such an easy and BS-free way to us.

Before you ask, no, this Google Wallet app isn’t available for download. But tell us, what do you think of all these new incoming features? I personally love them but would like to hear your opinions. Chime in down below!

the new "black card" has arrived...

Not that I carry a lot of cards, I'm kind of anti-credit card anyway, but this is a great idea. I wonder how well it will work. It must be easy to manage, be able to check debit card/checking account balances, and switch on the fly using the app. Google Offers needs to be more abundant as well, supporting far more cities.

So how exactly does the Google Wallet Card work when you pay?  So i combine 4 credit cards into one but when i swipe with GWC it charge to a default card (in GW account).  What if i want to charge to a different card at time of purchase?  will i get an option when swiping or do i have to log into GW and change the default to the card i want then swipe?

I imagine you would go in to the app via phone/tablet and select the desired card to be the default card. My first reaction to this article was, "this is dumb, I already have my debit card." But the fact that you can have 1 card to rule them all, it does seem more appealing. Example, go to the bar carry just ID, GWC and phone. Just make sure you have data connection, I guess.
