HTC DROID DNA Passes Through The FCC On Its Way To Verizon

The DROID DNA cleared one more hurdle on its way to your open arms as it passed through the FCC sporting Verizon’s CDMA and LTE bands. While no announcement for the DROID DNA from either Verizon or HTC appears to be on the radar, we’re still hopeful this will land on store shelves before the Thanksgiving holiday. However, @evleaks, the tipster responsible for the press image we’ve seen leak over the past few days is calling for an early December launch. Given the track record of the tipster, we’re inclined to give it at least a little due diligence.

For the sake of holiday sales and Black Friday, we’d love to see Verizon push this out early as a direct competitor to the Galaxy Note II, but an early December launch would still allow for that as well. As for the DROID DNA name, Verizon’s own website has seemingly confirmed that’s the street name for 5″ HTC device.

As a refresh, the DROID DNA sports a 5″ 1080p display with 400ppi, quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8 megapixel camera, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and 4G LTE.
