Nexus 7 Android 4.2 Update Now Live, Keep Frantically Checking

If you’re the owner of a Nexus 7, get excited, because the Android 4.2 update is rolling out now! While it isn’t a huge update, and technically still Jelly Bean, it still has some pretty fantastic features. If you’re on stock software, go into Settings > About > System Updates and spam that check button. I know I am. While I can’t update just yet, hopefully some of you can. If you get the update, tell us how it goes!

As soon as I started playing with it was notified that update was available. So far so good.

Got the update. Went smoothly. Still playing with it but the lock screen is different with cards, not many (clock, calendar, music, gmail) you can add and scroll laterally through without unlocking device. The lock screen clock is also new. Do not like the new look of the clock. Still trying to go through additional "upgrades". The notification bar(s) are also new. Left side is notifications, right side is setting oriented given quick access to wifi, airplane, blue tooth, brightness, battery, auto rotate with a general settings access as well. Will update if other newness is found.
