For their new Galaxy Note II, Samsung developed a feature that allows for true multitasking. The feature, known as the multi-window mode, was seen as a selling point for the device and gave users the ability to have multiple apps open on the screen all at once. Well while the multi-window mode has been promised for the original Note model, new screenshots have emerged that suggest this feature could also be coming to the smaller and ever popular Galaxy SIII via its next software update.
According to TGSpot, these screens show how dual-browsing would look on the Galaxy SIII’s slightly smaller 4.8-inch screen. It is expected that adjustments would need to be made due to the Galaxy SIII’s smaller screen real estate. SamMobile also made a similar claim just last month and posts that users could see the update before the end of the year.
