Samsung has traditionally been the best manufacturer on releasing source files for phones, and they’ve just set some more to the wild. This time around it includes both the regular Galaxy Note 10.1 and the LTE version, along with Sprint’s version of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. The unique Galaxy Camera is also getting its source released, which is great for the impending US launch on AT&T.
Oddly enough, the Samsung Stratosphere II – which was announced today – got its source released as well. With the way Verizon handles its phones, it’s quite different to see them allow Samsung to release the full kernel. Maybe Verizon’s having a change of heart, something the developing community has been aching for.
Those who are interested in delving into the source files can hit the source below (now pun intended), and be sure to let us know if there’s any interesting finds.
