With the great success of the Galaxy Note, it makes sense that every phone manufacturer and their brother would want to get into the phablet market. Sony has yet to reveal anything, but that may change come CES. A new image of the Sony ‘Yuga’ has leaked, and it may give the Note II something to worry about.
The device is said to feature a 5-inch full 1080p HD display, S4 Pro quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and a 12MP camera. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is what’s powering this bad boy, with no word on whether or not there will be a custom UI on top. Rounding things off is a non-removeable battery, but rest assured that is still has a MicroSD card slot and HDMI mirroring.
This is a completely new look from Sony we’re seeing, and it’s looking like they’re ready to truly complete with Samsung’s Note. No word on release, but expect to see this phone at CES. Anyone excited for the Sony Yuga?
