Samsung announced that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which was only released 2 months ago, has just sold up to 5 million units. Within its first month, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 sold over 3 million units. Only two months in, it has reached another sales goal and there is no doubt that the sales of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will continue to go strong.
However, despite the Note 2′s significant amount of sales, it doesn’t match up to its cousin’s sales, the Samsung Galaxy SIII, of over 30 million units. Nonetheless, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is a huge hit and a huge success for Samsung, which might not make Apple too happy considering their little feud.
At this rate, UBS may be correct when it predicted that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will sell up to 7 million units and that Samsung will sell up to 61.5 to 63 million smartphones in Q4 of this year.
