Troll Google Play No More As Reviews Now Link To Your Google+ Account

The days of Google Play trolls littering reviews with junk comments is at an end as Google socializes comments by linking  Play Store reviews to your Google+ account. This really shouldn’t come as much of a surprise as YouTube now asks if your comments can be posted using your Google+ name as well. Given that, this change doesn’t come as a huge surprise as Google continues to supercharge Google+ in any way that they can. The addition of Play Store reviews might force those who might otherwise ignore Google+ to start paying attention to their news feed.

The good news is that hopefully this will offer an overall better experience through the Play Store and through Google+ by association. Better download recommendations through family and friends is a great way to discover apps you might never have known about otherwise. The Android Play Store app has yet to enact these changes as of this writing, so if you’re looking for an opportunity to get some last-minute trolling in, now is your chance.

Idont use Google Plus but if I used it with my real name (and god forbid photo), I would never post a comment on Google Play again except to just rate the stars.  I understand the purpose of this but I regard my privacy as very secure and it just seems like yet another way that a company is trying to violate it.  Why have us create usernames then?  If you publish someones Google+, doesnt that mean that other people can then post or email them and maybe harass them or post nasty comments if they reviewed something that someoe else liked.  This jus tsmells fishy and if the goal is to decrease number of negative reviews, it will probably work.  But I find many apps and developers that just stink and their apps dont get updated and often dont work properly
