Apple Drops Patent Claim On Galaxy S III Mini Due To It Not Being Sold In The US

Apple filed a patent claim against the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini back in November, but it had to withdraw that claim today. Samsung said that Apple can not include the device because it is not being sold in the US, and it seems that Apple has agreed (in court anyway). This is both good news and bad news. It’s good for the obvious reasons: one less device in this lawsuit. It’s also bad because it doesn’t seem that Samsung will be selling this device in the US. Despite it being a little underwhelming, it’s still a competent device that may be good for a lot of people who don’t need a high end device.
