Benchmark Points Towards 7-Inch Galaxy Note

A new NenaMark Benchmark has been released showing information about a Samsung GT-N5100 which appears to be the 7-inch version of the Samsung Galaxy Note. It would make sense for Samsung to finally create a 7-inch Galaxy Note, seeing as how they have a 5.5-inch smartphone and a 10.1 inch tablet.

The benchmark shows that the GT-N5100 will have the following specs:

  • 720p HD resolution
  • Exynos 4412 SoC with 1.6GHz A9 Cortex quad-core processor
  • Mali-400MP GPU
  • Android 4.1.2 Jellybean

A 7-inch tablet with S-Pen capabilities would be an excellent move on Samsung’s part. This will allow them to tap into the market that thinks that 10-inch tablets are too heavy and that 5.5-inch smartphones are too big.

It may be asking for too much to see this device released before Christmas, so we may just have to wait until the 2013 CES and 2013 MWC to see this device unveiled.
