HTC M7 Possible Specs Revealed, Currently All Rumors

We’ve seen rumors about the HTC M7 before, but now we have more alleged information. Take it all with a grain of salt, of course, as absolutely nothing has been officially confirmed.

It is said that the M7 will be a successor to the One X, occupying the same 4.7″ class of phones. However, it will bring a 1080p resolution to 4.7″, which is a massive 468 pixels per inch. It’s also supposed to be better than SLCD2, including better color accuracy, viewing angles, and outdoor visibility. Inside will be a quad core Qualcomm processor at 1.7GHz, though it is not said what model of Qualcomm’s they’ll be using. There will also be 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Boosting the standard of 16GB to 32GB is a fantastic idea and one I firmly stand behind.

It is also said to house a 13MP camera sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. Cinesensor, as it’s called, will offer HDR in video and high framerates for slow motion. The front facing camera will also shoot 1080p. All of this will be running Jelly Bean with Sense 5. No one yet knows how Sense 5 looks, but I hope it’s very much toned down.

You’ll also get a 2,300 mAh battery (good to see HTC using bigger batteries), stereo speakers, a custom Beats amplifier, brand new 802.11ac WiFi standard, and Clear Words to improve call clarity. So what do you guys think of these rumors? Would they make your dream device? Tell us in the comments!

Any word on possible NFC features?

It probably will be amazing. I love HTC devices. I still use an HTC Sensation. But the problem is, HTC will mos tlikely let it be a carrier exclusive and give it some stupid DRIOD name. They need to take a play from Samsucks book and do a multi carrier launch for a high end phone. (The ONE series launch was terrible)

I agree with the fact that it should be a multi-carrier release. I (as a t-mobile customer/employee) was eccstatic about the release of the One X+.... untill I found out that it was going to be released exclusively on AT&T. I've been in love with HTC since the G2 and graduated to the sensation and since the oneS, I share your love and frustration for the brand lol

I NEED a removable battery. It's saved my butt too many times. Dang HTC, you came so close!

TheDark_Knight Any phone that doesn't have a removable battery has hardware key functions that will act as a mock battery pull.

@deathproof85 Oh. I was referring more to the fact that I can carry an extra battery or two and go from a dead battery to a fully charged one in less than 60 seconds.
