International Samsung Galaxy SIII Receives Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update

Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean updates to several international Samsung Galaxy SIII (GT-I9300) devices.

The update is being pushed out in phases, and Poland is the first country to receive the update. Give it a few days, or even weeks before thi update hits your Samsung Galaxy SIII.

There is a whole bunch of features Samsung has included in the Android 4.1.2 update. A lot of the features are features seen on the Galaxy Note II as well as the Galaxy Note 10.1.

Here is a list of features you can expect to see:

  • Multi-View (Multi-Window multitasking seen on the Galaxy Note II)
  • Page Buddy
  • Same Gallery App as the Galaxy Note II
  • Customizable Notification Panel
  • Smart Rotation
  • Upgraded Samsung Keyboard (Similar to SwiftKey)
  • Paper Artist
  • Group Cast

It’s exciting to see that Samsung has ported so many of the coveted features on the Samsung Galaxy Note II to the Samsung Galaxy SIII.
