Motorola has altered its device update page again and has changed some estimated ETA’s for the Jelly Bean rollout to its various devices.
The most notable change is that Motorola has added the Atrix HD to the list of devices receiving Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Not only that, the Motorola Atrix HD is slated to receive the Jelly Bean update this month.
Motorola has also added the Motorola Electrify M for U.S. Cingular to the list, and its set to receive the Jelly Bean update in Q1 of 2013.
Another change is that the Motorola Xoom (both WiFi and 3G/LTE) Jelly Bean update has been pushed back to Q1 of 2013, instead of this month.
Motorola warns consumers that their update schedule is subject to change. They also released a disclaimer saying,
“If your Android 1.5 (“Cupcake”) through Android 2.3 (“Gingerbread”) model is not listed here, it is not slated for any further Android operating system upgrades.”
That’s sad news for users of older Motorola devices (though not entirely surprising), but at least Motorola Atrix HD users have something to look forward to. You can check the full list of devices subject to a Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update below.
