Oppo Find 5 Heading To US For $499 Unlocked

The Oppo Find 5 smartphone will be heading on over to the US unlocked for the unsubsidized price of $499.00.

The Oppo Find 5 has the following specs:

  • 5-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD Display at 441 PPI
  • Qualcomm Quad-Core 1.5GHz processor
  • 16GB ROM
  • 2GB Ram
  • Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean
  • 2500 mAh battery

The Oppo Find 5 has specs that rival that of the HTC Droid DNA, except with a bigger 2500 mAh battery (compared to the HTC Droid DNA’s 2020 mAh battery) and for $100 cheaper compared to the $600 HTC Droid DNA price tag off contract.

The Oppo Find 5 will be compatible with both T-Mobile and AT&T’s 3G network unlocked. More information concerning the Oppo Find 5 will be released when it is unveiled in Beijing on December 12th.

it's a good looking phone but I'm not brave enough to drop the cash on a manufacturer I've never heard of before. We have enough trouble getting decent support with Samsung or HTC. I can imagine that this would be a nightmare.

 sitnstew I think this is their first phone, but in the HT space Oppo is well-known and highly regarded as a brand.

 sitnstew That I cant answer, but if you google Oppo blu-ray players you'll find a lot of info on their HT side and maybe stumble across some support stuff. Assuming the hardware is ok, one can probably assume these will be hacked death by the guys over at xda
