Rockstar Releases Grand Theft Auto Vice City, Then Removes It

We feel bad for anyone who was excited for this game. In fact, we feel bad for us. Vice City was a pretty big launch for Android and Rockstar ended up pulling it from the Play Store. Issues with XAPK validation surfaced, so they had to remove it. Fortunately, if you already purchased it, you won’t have to do so again when it’s back. Here’s an official statement:

We’re aware that some users have attempted to download Vice City: 10th Anniversary Edition from the Google Play Store and have experienced validation errors.

Just to be clear: the game is not available for Android devices just yet, and if you’re seeing it listed on the Store then this is an error, and you shouldn’t attempt to download it. We’ll keep you up to date and let you know as soon as the game is live and available to purchase.

Guess we’ll just have to wait a bit longer. Who already bought the game?
