Rumor: Sony Xperia Z Will Have Regional Variant Called The Xperia X
We’ve heard quite a bit of rumors about the Sony Yuga, and we’ve even been told that it will be renamed to the Xperia Z at launch. We’ve heard rumors of specs all over the place, but all have pointed to a 5″ 1080p display. But new rumors suggest that the Xperia Z won’t be the only phone released soon.
Chinese site ePrice says that there will be an Xperia X along with the Z. They say that the Xperia X will be identical to the Z aside from some design differences and will be offered in some territories instead of the Z. This has happened before with the Xperia T and TX, so it could be true.
They also say that the Xperia Z will be unveiled at CES and released mid-January. If so, we can’t wait to see it. Take all this with a grain of salt, but if this turns out to be true, things could be good for Sony.
This is one of only two Sony phones on AT&T's 4G LTE network, and I've heard it's great! I have my Samsung Note 2 on that network and couldn't be happier. I'm a graphic artist and need the speed to transmit my designs back and forth to my clients in Dallas.
