Here’s a big surprise for you: This Samsung ad is the top ad of the year. Visible Measures is a video tracker that records “true reach” views, which measures views on every version of the video posted to all sites. It also includes mashups and parodies to properly gauge is popularity. Apparently, this particular Samsung ad got 71.8 million true reach views, making it number one.
The only Apple “ad” to make it on this list is the seven minute iPhone 5 introduction, and it got the number six spot with 18.4 million views. I don’t know about you, but I’m actually shocked. This really shows that Samsung is getting somewhere with its public image.
