Sony has been releasing a lot of low end phones to the market, ones that cost very little unlocked and work decently well for the price. This time, they’ve announced the Xperia E (and the Xperia E Dual, the dual SIM version) and it is just as low end as you can expect. With a 1GHz single core Spandragon S1 from the Nexus One days, we’re surprised it can even run Jelly Bean. Here’s a list of other specs:
- 3.5″ 320×480 display
- 1GHz Qualcomm MSM7227A processor
- 512MB RAM
- 3.2MP camera
- 1,500 mAh battery
- 4GB storage with microSD card slot
The Xperia E ships with Jelly Bean on board, with the E Dual getting it as an upgrade soon. It’s a nice touch, and in the video it seems to run well on the antiquated processor. We can’t imagine how cheap this phone will be, with those specs. It might be a good option for some though. What do you guys think? Tell us in the comments!
