A Samsung Full-HD Smartphone Is Heading To AT&T

Samsung

Samsung is preparing a full-HD smartphone for AT&T according to Samsung’s leaked User Agent Profile. The device will feature a full 1080 x 1920 display resolution.

The device model ID is Samsung SGH-I337 and it may very well be the Samsung Galaxy S IV.

Samsung is getting ready to announce the Samsung Galaxy S IV in March, with the release date most likely being around April.

Here is the information from the USProf file:

<!– Vendor/model –>

<prf:Vendor>SAMSUNG
<prf:Model>SGH-I337
<prf:CPU>ARM11
<!– Display –>
<prf:ScreenSize>1080×1920
<prf:ColorCapable>Yes
<prf:BitsPerPixel>16
<prf:PixelAspectRatio>1×1
<prf:ImageCapable>Yes
<prf:ScreenSizeChar>25×21
<prf:StandardFontProportional>Yes

Here are the rumored specs for the Samsung Galaxy S IV:

There is still a chance that this is just a regular Samsung smartphone that happens to have a full-HD screen, so let’s not get our hopes up just yet. Either way, it’s most likely going to be a higher-end device that should appeal to the masses.

Samsung would not make the Galaxy S IV exclusive to any carrier after their success with the SIII.

OadenJohnson I am really thinking this is either:

1. Fake

2. a possible  gs3 HD variant.

but still dont think its the gs4.

@ajac09 why a GS3 variant? The GS3 is almost a year old. 1080p on a variant of the same phone that wouldn't smart. You put the best specs on your best phone and that is your flagship phones.

8 core processor? Right, I'll believe that.

not the gs4.. maybe a captivate glide 2? and just becasue it has an I in front of it doesnt mean AT&T.. a few other GSM carriers uses that like rogers...

@ajac09 I doubt that. Why would they give a full 1080p display to a mid range device and not their flagship phone? Captivate glide 1 was a low powered GS2 With a keyboard.

houstonsveryown  ajac09  Because maybe its not going to be a mid rnaged device? Also that information above is NOT a gurantee on anything more then someone got bored and typed up some garbage and put it online. Personally I feel this is a fake.

@ajac09 Samsung's two most powerful phones in its line up atr the Galaxy S line and the note line. You can bank on those two as Samsung flagships. So I don't see them changing that up. But you're also right. This could be a fake anyway.

ajac09 Only AT&T uses the I-xx7 system. The I in the beginning a few use, but AT&T's classic naming system is always the same.

Haloruler64 Rogers calls there Skyrocket the I727 to...

ajac09 Rogers is literally AT&T in Canada. Same bands, almost always same phones.

@ajac09 @Haloruler64 but Rogers put an M next to the model number
