Google TV may not be very popular, but it’s good to know Google has not given up on it yet. The Google TV Blog has announced that there will be new products shown off at CES from a variety of manufactures, like ASUS, Hisense, TCL, LG, Vizio, Sony, and others. It will come to a total of 9 partners across 10 countries offering TVs and set top boxes running Google TV.
It’s important to see ASUS entering the Google TV game. It could be the ASUS Qube, a dongle that went through the FCC a while ago. If anyone can push the Google TV market into the mainstream, it would be ASUS. We can’t wait to see what Google has in store for us at CES, but now we know to expect some new Google TV products. Are you excited to see some new GTV stuff? Or do you think the platform will never take off? Tell us in the comments!
