Kite Tablet Runs Both Ubuntu And Android On An Exynos Quad Core

An interesting tablet is now up for pre-order. DaVinci Mobile Technology calls it the Kite Full-HD tablet, and the specs are pretty impressive. The screen is a 10.1″ 1920×1080 IPS panel, it has a quad core Exynos 4412 that has been proven amazing time and time again, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, dual cameras (the rear camera is 2MP), and a price of €309, or $413.

But that’s not the best part. The coolest feature it boasts is its dual boot system. It has both Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and Ubuntu 12.04. Impressive, right? We can only hope that we might someday get this tablet in the US, but it’s unlikely. What do you guys think?

I contacted the manufactor in Italy and they will ship it to me in the US for around 22 €.pld940 Not sure how you get the idea that they copy the design from iPad, different hardware, different screen, different screen size and ratio and the tablet has different dimensions, different software, as well as being able to dual boot into software and that picture has been on Android and Ubuntu for years, heck one of my themes on windows 8 has that picture.

Not only did they copy the iPads design, they took Apples picture too.
