While the Motorola DROID RAZR M has had Android 4.1 for a while here in the US, the Intel powered RAZR i hasn’t quite been so lucky. They promised the update in Q1 of 2013, and they have delivered (fairly early, considering most manufacturers put it off until the last week of a quarter). The RAZR i is now receiving its 4.1.2 update in France, and hopefully will roll out to other areas soon.
If you want the update, go to Settings > About phone > Software updates and check for a new update. And if you’re rooted, don’t worry, there are already root methods out there to root the new software version. Tell us how it goes!
