Last month, Motorola DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX owners were happily looking forward to the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update that was rolling out.
However many users were disappointed when the update randomly stopped and they were left without Jelly Bean throughout the holidays. Neither Motorola or Verizon explained the reasoning behind the delay of the rollout.
Many users were confronted with messages saying that their device was already up-to-date, and/or had troubles downloading the update onto their devices.
Today, Motorola has confirmed that DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX owners will receive their Jelly Bean updates in Q1 of 2013. Let’s hope that the update launches this month instead of in March.
Were you one of the lucky users who were able to update their DROID RAZR or DROID RAZR MAXX devices? Or were you left out in the cold like many others?
