Photos Of The Samsung GT-B7810 QWERTY Phone Emerge

Portrait QWERTY smartphones are a quickly dying breed. Android ones are even rarer, and good ones are impossible to come by. This is the Samsung GT-B7810, the successor to the Galaxy M Pro (B7800). And if you’re getting excited, don’t. With a 480×360 landscape screen and a 1,200 mAh battery, there is little to be excited about. While it should be faster than its predecessor, we aren’t sure how much better it will. All we know is that it’ll be faster than a 1GHz single core.

It’s unfortunate, but there are no good Android smartphones with portrait keyboards. This is probably destined for markets outside of the US, and will probably be very cheap unlocked. Samsung, how about a high end one now? Blackberry Torch style?

Actually, I thought the Motorola Charm was a very good entry level android phone. With a bigger screen, more pixels, better camera, and much better processor it would've been a winner. It had a fantastic keyboard.

Why can't we have more devices like the Desire Z / G2? Has to be my favorite Android phone ever design wise. One of the last Android phones I remember having a physical shutter button.... I miss it so much :(

573W1E Exactly! Or like the Sidekick 4G. It would've been a great phone had it not had serious software issues. and the lack of flash was kinda annoying.. but it's keyboard was amazing, IMO.

JQuest81 Only thing about the Z was that awesome hinge that wouldn't stay open. not sure why HTC couldn't implement some magnets or something....
