Short history of mankind: Meaning of scrolls? Meaning of the Pyramids? Meaning of the tea leaves? Meaning of an Android Icon! Maybe it means an extra-terrestrial visit of Android Aliens from Andromeda. Hey, isn't another asteriod coming at the end of this year. Maybe more space spooks hiding in there.

It's made of industrial metal, with the bolts and everything. Possibly related to security? Hardening against malware?

Haloruler64 I like the way you think, maybe...corporate?

Haloruler64 84 pts

CallChrisNow If it's corporate, I'm going there, taking measurements, and custom tailoring him a nice formal suit.

Haloruler64 I'm holding you to that.

That's interesting. The next iteration of Android is supposed to be Key Lime Pie right? So it can't be that Maybe something to do with making a new device, perhaps?

CallChrisNow If it were part of their naming scheme, it would be in line with the other statues across the street. This is probably something different. I think anyway.

Might have something with combining chrome and Android!!

CallChrisNow 18 pts

liszewskishanne Chrome would be shinier wouldn't it?

liszewskishanne 6 pts

CallChrisNow it might be shinier in person, and there is slight variations in colors of chrome

CallChrisNow 18 pts

liszewskishanne Chromium is an element. it's a uniform color because there aren't any variations, Chromium is comprised of chromium and nothing else. "Chrome" refers to Chrome plating, wherein something is plated with a layer of Chromium. You're not going to see variations on that magnitude. Image search Chromium if you're curious.

CallChrisNow 18 pts

liszewskishanne The only variation is really in a matté coating process, which comes out dull, not shiny.

CallChrisNow  liszewskishanne The photo WAS taken by a GNex, so it could be pink for all we know :P but maybe it's something big with Chrome for Android... we really have no idea.

Haloruler64  liszewskishanne I love my phone! Don't be mean! Haha

@liszewskishanne that's what I am thinking. A chrome Android... makes sense.
