Samsung began pushing out its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 a few days ago, but now it’s released the full details of what’s inside of the update.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will receive the following benefits from the update:

  • Multi-Window: The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will receive the Multi-Window feature which allows you to run two apps side-by-side.
  • Cascade View: You can now resize, move, and pin select apps in multiple views. You can run them simultaneously or while operating on your home screen.
  • Air View: You can now use your S-Pen to quickly preview content without needing to open it first. This will allow you to preview videos, email attachments, photos, and more without needing to open them.
  • Quick Command: The S-Pen will now quickly activate apps and services that you use frequently by using command shortcuts determined by customized or preset S-Pen strokes.
  • Easy Clip: You can now easily copy and paste text, images, and more with this feature by drawing around an image or sliding your S-Pen across the text you want to select.
  • S-Pen Tricks: Write directly in your e-mails, circle/mark important events while in your calendar’s monthly view, and unlock your Galaxy Note 10.1 by simply removing your S-Pen.
  • Better Notifications: See a more detailed view of your notifications and apply actions directly from your notifications bar.
  • Auto-Placing Widget: Place widgets anywhere on your screens. Other widgets will automatically be replaced.
  • Updated Samsung Gallery: 3 different view modes – timeline view, grid view, and spiral view.
  • Internet Zoom Features: Slide your thumb from the left or right edge of your tablet to zoom in and out.
  • Paper Artist: Paper Artist offers a bunch of effects and filters for your photos.

There weren’t any detailed update information for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, however it’s most likely to have all of the same features as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 minus everything that involves the S-Pen.

For those of you who own either the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, have you received your update yet? How are you enjoying it?
