Samsung In The Process Of Fixing Galaxy S III Sudden Death Issue

Last we heard, small batches of Samsung Galaxy S III’s were dying out of nowhere. Sometimes, people rebooted their phones and the phone would refuse to turn on. Many speculated it had something to do with the memory, but we do know that the entire mainboard has to be replaced. Fortunately, Samsung has been great about it and replacing phones no matter their state. If the device was rooted, they would still replace it.

Now Samsung reports that the issue is caused by a firmware bug and they’re in the process of fixing it. They will update their Galaxy S III’s soon to keep them from dying. So if you feared for your precious device in the midst of this issue, fear not. Samsung will soon render your device completely safe.

The only issue I'm facing on my tmous gs3 is the notification led light is Dim as hell. It use to be bright and easy to see, now no where near that. Hope that's a fix too.

Ever since the update to Jelly Bean on Tmobile I get the message of how I have insufficient memory when trying to update or install apps once my memory hits around 400mb on my 32gb model. I don't get it because I have plenty of memory left. It's bad when I need to update an app that is only a few mbs but it says I have insufficient memory. The only thing that helps now is to install then reinstall or use an app that cleans the cache, etc.

Haven't heard of this, but since the 4.1.1 update my phone lights up when I get a message and will not turn back off randomly.
