The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is still a solid device to this day. Sure, it’s not quite as powerful as the Nexus 7, it has its own merits. For example, it has an IR blaster for controlling TVs and a microSD card slot for expanding storage. Plus, with TouchWiz, it can be called a better software offering for consumers (very arguably). However, Samsung is about to make it a little more appealing.
They are releasing a special edition Garnet Red Tab 2 7.0. It’s the same tablet that’s been out for a while but handsomely painted and in limited quantities. It’ll set you back $220 here in the US and will come with Jelly Bean pre-installed. You’ll have to act fast to get one.
However, how can we recommend you buy a Tab 2 7.0 when the Tab 3 line is rumored to be announced at Mobile World Congress so soon? It may be best to just wait for the next generation of tablets to launch. Not only could you get a far better tablet, but you might be able to pick one of these up for a much cheaper price. But if you can’t live without a red tablet, pounce on this one now.
