Sprint Offering A BOGO Free Deal For The LG Optimus G

For those of you looking to sign up with Sprint, or are eligible for an upgrade with Sprint, Sprint is now offering a buy-one-get-one free deal on their LG Optimus G handset.
The device is currently $199.99 on a new two-year contract, so you’ll pretty much be getting two LG Optimus G’s for $100 each.
Here are the specs for the LG Optimus G:
- 4.7-inch IPS 768 x 1280 resolution display
- 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor
- 32GB internal storage
- 2GB RAM
- 13Mp rear-facing camera
- 1.3MP front-facing camera
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (upgradeable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean)
- 2,100 mAh battery
But for those of you willing to wait a little while longer and willing to shell out some extra cash, the Sony Xperia Z and HTC M7 should be making their way to us in about 2 months.
However for those of you who want a high-end handset right now, this LG Optimus G deal is definitely one you should jump on.
I've always disliked these "BOGO" deals, they require two lines to be ready and prepared to upgrade at the same time, desiring the same phone. It feels more like a "pull attention to Sprint" gig than an actual sale. I'd bet they sell very few phones under these types of deals.
