The Sony Xperia Z Launcher Has Been Ported To Several Samsung Smartphones
The folks over at XDA Developers has just ported the Sony Xperia Z launcher onto several Samsung Galaxy devices.
The list of compatible Samsung devices include:
- Samsung Galaxy S II
- Samsung Galaxy S III
- Samsung Galaxy Note
- Samsung Galaxy Note II
The ported Xperia Z launcher comes with a bunch of features, including:
- The Xperia Z widgets (which are resizable)
- 7 Home Screens with add/remove support
- Folders in the app drawer
- Sony Xperia Z’s UI
- And several other features…
The widget package includes:
- Xperia clock widgets
- Xperia weather widget
- Xperia recent calls widget
- Xperia on/off tools widget
- Sony Notes app & widget
- Xperia Z Home
The only known issue so far is a force close issue when you press the “theme’s option” in the “home’s setting”. You can head over to XDA Developers right now to install the Sony Xperia Z launcher onto your Samsung device.
Looks like many of you can preview the greatness of the Sony Xperia Z before the device is actually released. There is no word whether or not the launcher will be ported to other devices yet, but I sure hope so.
