ZTE Supposedly Planning To Launch A 6.3-Inch 8-Core CPU Phablet

ZTE is rumored to be planning on releasing a huge phablet of their own to rival that of the Huawei Ascend Mate and wait for it… it’s going to be 6.3-inches. The device will be called the ZTE Nubia Z7.
Bigger may be better in some cases, but ZTE and Huawei have to know that there is a limit. There is a limit to how big phones can be before we start calling them tablets, and it looks like these phones are getting there.
ZTE should have just stuck to phones like their flagship phone, the ZTE Grand S, but they’re very determined to enter the high-end smartphone ring that they’ll do anything to one-up their competition.
Here is a list of specs rumored for the ZTE Nubia Z7:
- 6.3-inch 2560 x 1440 resolution display
- 1.4GHz 8-core processor
- Mali-T658 GPU
- 16MP camera
- 128GB internal storage
- Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie
- LTE capable
This isn’t the first time ZTE has been rumored to be launching a phone with an 8-core processor in 2013. However, given all of the “supposed” specs, this is almost clearly BS, especially for these specs to be seen on a ZTE and not something like a Samsung.
Even if it’s not, it looks like we won’t be seeing this phone in a really long time considering Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie isn’t out yet and probably won’t be for a little while.
Although most of these specs seem to be complete BS, it honestly wouldn’t surprise me to see ZTE, or any other manufacturer, try to produce a phone with a bigger screen size to rival that of the Huawei Ascend Mate’s.
What do you think of the ZTE Nubia Z7? Are these manufacturers taking it too far with these phablet screen sizes?
I wonder what these guys must be smoking...It's clearly Samsung specs and these exact specs will be released on the Galaxy S4 in May or June 2013. These specs will also be increased in Oct/Nov 2013 when the Galaxy Note 3 gets released. These guys ZTE and Huawei need to stop being copy cat's on Samsung. We current Galaxy Note 2 owners already know what's coming NEXT in the Galaxy Note 3. and ZTE and Huawei won't see these specs in a million years...Nice try thou
