We’ve seen plenty of leaks of the rumored HTC One (or M7). The rumored next generation flagship for the Taiwanese tech firm looks like a beast, and if it lives up to the specs and performance of the One X and One X+, it should be something of a monster. Design-wise it looks vastly different to the previous devices. Machined grille holes virtually cover the top and bottom panels, the front facing camera is offset to the right. From the sides it looks incredibly slim, and has a gentle curve. It also has polished, chamfered edges which we’ve only seen thus far on Apple’s iPad mini and iPhone 5.
So far we’ve heard that the One will be running Jelly Bean 4.1.2 with the enhanced SENSE 5.0. Hardware, we’re looking at a 4.7-inch, 1080p display running a quad-core 1.7 Ghz Snapdragon processor with 2GB RAM and a 13MP rear camera, all kept alive by a 2,300 mAh battery.
All we know for sure is that HTC has an event later today (10am Eastern) in which it’s expected to be announcing this next beast of a phone. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
