If you were looking for a phone, but didn’t have a lot of money to spend, the LG Optimus F series may be a good bet for you. These two devices, the F5 and F7, are mid end devices that have some very respectable specs and will hopefully have very low prices.
On the lower end of the spectrum we have the Optimus F5. It comes with a 4.3″ display with a qHD resolution, a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage with a microSD slot, a 5 megapixel camera, and a 2,150 mAh battery. It will ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and, with that battery, will last you quite a long time.
A good step up from the F5 is the Optimus F7. Rocking an almost high end 4.7″ True HD IPS display with a 720p resolution, it’s a lot closer to the flagships we had only a few months ago. It comes with a 1.5 GHz dual core, 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of memory with a microSD slot, an 8 megapixel camera, and a beefy 2,540 mAh battery. It also comes with Android 4.1.2. Even enthusiasts should enjoy this phone.
We don’t know when they’re coming or how much they will cost, but they’re very solid devices that deserve a bit of attention among the sea of high end phones being announced. This just might be an amazing deal if the price is right. What do you think of these two phones?
