EvLeaks, a trusted source of leaked Android news, has released an image on Twitter of the supposed HTC One (HTC M7), and it looks a lot like the HTC render of the device that was leaked a month ago. We’re still not sure what to make of this, seeing as there are several leaked images of the HTC One that shows that it mimics the DROID DNA’s design.
Another thing about this leaked image is that there doesn’t seem to be an app switcher button. All there is, is a back button and a home button. The Sense 5.0 layout seems to somewhat resemble that of the Windows OS, with tiles of social media taking up the majority of the screen. This probably goes with the simple feel Sense 5.0 is supposed to offer.
The HTC One features an edge-to-edge display, and it looks to have 2 speaker grills.
So perhaps HTC is releasing two variants of the HTC One?
Also, according to a User Agent Profile released by HTC itself, HTC may really be dubbing the HTC M7 as the HTC One.
The HTC One should contain the following specs:
- 4.7-inch 1080p 468ppi SoLux display
- Quad-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm APQ8064 processor
- 32GB internal memory (no expandable storage)
- 2GB RAM
- 13MP rear-facing camera
- 2MP front-facing camera (capable of 1080p video capture)
- Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5
- Beats Audio
- 2,300 mAh battery
- IR Port
We should officially be seeing the HTC One 8 days from now at HTC’s press event.
