The LG Optimus 4X HD, Optimus L9, and L7 Will Officially Be Upgraded To Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

LG has just confirmed that not only will the LG Optimus 4X HD be receiving the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update, but the LG Optimus L9, and the LG Optimus L7 will both be receiving the update as well.

Only the Asia variants of the LG Optimus L9 and L7 (model # P765 and P705) have been confirmed to be getting the Jelly Bean update. This means that the international versions of the devices (Model # P760 and P700) will be updated sometime later.

LG hasn’t released an official date on when the Jelly Bean update should be rolling out, but we can’t imagine it’d be too long from now seeing as they’ve released an announcement for it.

The owners of the LG Optimus G in South Korea have already received their Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update, which means it shouldn’t take too long now for LG to release the update to its other devices.

On a side note, the LG Optimus G Pro. also running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, has been leaked. Here is a breakdown of its specs:
