Galaxy Note III Rumored To Have A 5.9″ Screen, My Jeans Quiver In Fear
Rumors about Samsung are flying, and the Galaxy Note III is now getting its fair share. While the original Galaxy Note was 5.3″ (and fairly wide) and the Galaxy Note II was a smaller bump to 5.5″, it seems that The Korea Times has reason to believe the Galaxy Note III will be a gargantuan 5.9″.
Of course, this isn’t too extreme considering the market. The Huawei Ascend Mate is a massive 6.1″, while the ZTE Grand Memo is 5.7″. Manufacturers are all trying to get a piece of the oversized pie, and the rumored screen size for the Note III doesn’t seem so bad. But is it too big? What do you guys think? I think I’d go for it, but I’m not quite sure. I want to know if you will. Leave a comment!
I first saw the note in one of my customers hands and thought it was ridiculous. I thought no more of the phone until last week when I stopped in at Best Buy to look at the S4 as a possible upgrade from my S2. I actually passed on the S4 because of the Note II. Once I got it in my hand I realized the reason it looked ridiculous in my customers hand was that he was 5'7" and 120 lbs. I'm 6'4" 280 with big hands, so it looks and undoubtedly feels completely different. The down side of this is that now I'm waiting for the Note III because I can't get the S4 after playing with The Note.
