Samsung Teases The Galaxy S IV With New Legit Picture

Samsung Galaxy S IV First Look

We saw some pictures of what was supposedly the Galaxy S IV today and it looks like Samsung decided to give us our first official look at the device. They may have only shown the corner but from what we can see, it looks quite similar to the S III. Although some may have hoped for a brand new design, this looks like it’ll be mighty fine anyway. The S III had a great design that was both minimal and functional and carrying that onto the S IV can only be good. Though I’m not sure if I’m the only one who’s noticing this, but does anybody else see an earpiece up there? I certainly don’t which intrigues me as to where it is. But now I’ll turn it over to you. What do you think of this first official glimpse of the design? Good, bad, ugly? Let us know in the comments!

I took the image into Paint Shop Pro 5 and tried to brighten the dark areas. One thing I realized immediately is that the teaser image is an extremely low resolution image. According to another post, the front-facing camera is now at the bottom right corner, so showing the top left isn't necessarily indicative of what's to come.

kanoneyez this isn't the original teaser image. this site just got it from somewhere else

The earpiece could be in the samsung logo. That would be pretty cool!

Just pointing out there is no front-facing camera or antenna bar in this photo...

lowekey That's what I thought as well. Seems a bit odd, right?

I was hoping for a new design, although if they keep the same design and shape as the S3 maybe that means our S3 accessories will still be usable! Yay!

GaryJunior If you mean accessories such as cases, then they won't fit. The screen is bigger so the dimensions will not be the exact same.

@Jake not necessarily, but I see what you're saying. Samsung could still make the dimensions of the phone then same with a bigger screen.

GaryJunior Better than a rectangular design though! *sigh of relief, I always liked the smooth curvature of the s3...
