Sony Xperia ZL Priced Off Contract, Up For Pre-Orders In US

We know that the Sony Xperia Z stole the show when it was announced, but the Xperia ZL is still a very relevant device. It has nearly identical specs, namely a 5″ 1080p display, Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, and a 13MP camera, but is missing waterproofing and the all glass design. However, it does gain a smaller body and a physical camera button, along with the security that all the glass won’t shatter in one drop.

If you’re interested in purchasing this device off contract in the US, the device is now up for pre-order. The HSPA model will cost you $720, while an extra $40 will get you 4G LTE (with bands that work on AT&T). It’s a bit steep of a price, but unlocked phones tend to be pricey. Are any of you considering picking one up? Tell us in the comments!
