Sprint And Samsung Updating The Epic 4G Touch To Jelly Bean

If you’re still hanging onto your Epic 4G Touch, Sprint’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S II, we don’t blame you. It’s a beastly little device, even to this day. And it’s about to get a lot better, as Samsung and Sprint are updating the device to Jelly Bean 4.1. But it isn’t just 4.1, it’s paired with the new Nature UX from the Galaxy S III. And if it’s anything like the builds coming out of Europe (from the international i9100), it’ll have features like Smart Stay, motion controls, and more.

Of course, you’ll also be getting standard stuff like Google Now and rich notifications. However, the update is far too big to send over the air, so it’s a Kies update only. So when you get home, plug your phone into a computer with Kies and get updating! Tell us how it goes and what cool stuff you find!
