Swype Beta Updated With Many Fixes

Swype has so far been the undisputed king of swiping keyboards on Android. Even though SwiftKey recently released their version of swiping, dubbed Flow, Swype still has them beat by a little. It’s simply a bit more accurate. So if you’re a dedicated Swype user, there is an update available for the beta keyboard. Here is the full changelog:

I always end up going back to Swype. Even  though I think Swiftkey with Flow still has the best predictions, I can Swype capital letters with out having to stop and hit the Shift key each time.

I preferred using Swype over SwiftKey until Flow can out. The ONLY reason I like Flow is because I can put spaces between words without lifting my finger. However, that functionality is limited and faulty. After about 3 to 4 words, it bombs if you try to type anymore. Since I paid for SwiftKey, I'll continue to use it. (I also don't like that when I change batteries, SwiftKey needs to be reset as the default keyboard.

sorry, brain to fast for my fingers: Intended: ".... until Flow came out."

kanoneyez I use Flow because SwiftKey is an amazing typing keyboard and does fine as a swiping keyboard. Having both in one package makes it the best for me. Purely swiping, Swype is better but I can't type with it normally and I don't want to keep switching. And yeah, Flow through space is buggy but cool.

Haloruler64 Yeah. Agreed. Although on a full-size keyboard I can do 65wpm, on a touch-screen, swiping is much faster than trying to type (at least for me.)

kanoneyez I agree, swiping is much faster. That's how I type a majority of the time. Aside from pressing suggestions of course. I adore SwiftKey
