Verizon Eventually Updating The Galaxy Nexus, But To What?
Though the Verizon Galaxy Nexus has reached its End of Life, it might not have been forgotten. Well, a little anyway, because being four updates behind its GSM brother gives off the impression of being forgotten.
When asked about an update, Verizon’s support Twitter account responded that Samsung will be pushing an update to the Galaxy Nexus. What update it is has not been specified, and the only time frame given is “soon,” but if the device will be getting one more update, it’ll make a lot of people happy. Will it be 4.2? 4.2.1 or 4.2.2? Or is it 4.2 at all? We’ll find out eventually. Do any of you own an unrooted Verizon Galaxy Nexus?
I do. I own an unrooted GNex on Verizon. I absolutely love it, it's amazing, but damn, Verizon really needs to get with the updates moving forward. I get their perspective, but this is just stupid.
