We reported on Verizon preparing an update for their Galaxy S III, and today they have started rolling it out. It’s a very minor update, with Android version 4.1.2, and will include some minor fixes and improvements. Keyboard predictions have been improved, Bluetooth performance is better, you can take photos in a call, there will be a refresh button on the lockscreen stock ticker, and a few minor things. However, any software update is a good software update if it doesn’t strip out features (no, bloat isn’t a feature).
If you want this update, go to Settings > About phone > Software updates and check for new updates! Tell us if you get it or if you notice anything cool or different.
