Verizon Officially Announces Android 4.2.2 Rollout For Galaxy Nexus
Even though Verizon killed off their Galaxy Nexus, it isn’t out of the game yet. Verizon, in a very surprising move, is releasing the official 4.2.2 update today. Many thought this would never happen, and it is very late, but at least it got here at all!
The update will include everything you expect it to, like Photo Sphere, quick settings, and other improvements. It starts rolling out today, March 19th, and will come in phases. This means that if you don’t get it today, you’ll get it soon. Just be a bit patient and mash that update button in Settings > About phone!
HELP!!! I received my update (JDQ39) and IMMEDIATELY noticed a rapid drain of the battery. I had to shut off all email updates or the battery drops to '0' within minutes. Even with email off, it is very slow to recharge. What gives??
