7 Inch ASUS MeMO Pad Available For Purchase, Only $150

If you’re really budget minded and the $200 Nexus 7 is just too expensive (or a tablet isn’t worth $200 to you), the ASUS MeMO Pad is now available for purchase. The tablet only costs $150, but the spec drop compared to the Nexus 7 is pretty big. It comes with a 7″ 1024×600 display, 1GHz single core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of memory, a 4,270 mAh battery, and a 1MP f/2.0 aperture front facing camera that records in 720p. All this runs Android 4.1 with some ASUS modifications.

These specs can’t even be classified as mid end, but you get what you pay for. If you’re in the market for a tablet, we suggest getting the Nexus 7. That $50 extra will get you a far better experience and a longer lasting product. Or you can wait for Google I/O, where there might be a Nexus 7 replacement, which will drop the price of the Nexus 7. But if you’re dead set on this tablet, hit the source link to buy one.
