Google Subtly Teased Key Lime Pie At I/O

We weren’t expecting Key Lime Pie at Google I/O. It was pretty clear that it wasn’t coming for whatever reason. We don’t know whether it was to give manufacturers time to update their devices to 4.2, or they’re working on something big and need more time, but we expected this to happen. However, it seems that we missed a few references to Key Lime Pie during Google’s presentations.

During one presentation, someone took the first image of an Android eating what looks to be Key Lime Pie. Cute, right? In another image, you can see an imagine of a game with one of the powers being Key Lime Pie. Looks like Google did what they like to do, and teased Key Lime Pie without actually giving it to us.

We may see Key Lime Pie by the end of the year, hopefully with a new flagship Nexus device. For now, we’ll have to settle with a white Nexus 4 and Android 4.3. Not too shabby, right? So are you amused by Google’s sly teases? Leave a comment!
