Google Play Games was unveiled at Google I/O 2013 and brought to Android what was sorely missing: a central gaming network. It provided the framework for achievements, leaderboards, cloud game saves, true real time multiplayer, and more. Many games have been updated to support this, and one of our favorites joins the club.
Granny Smith was updated, and while it doesn’t include every feature that Google Play Games offers, it brings in achievements and leaderboards. And while achievements are fun, leaderboards for this game is an awesome idea. All you have to do is sign in with your Google+ account, and you’re ready to compete with friends and the world! It’s just too bad I’m not very good at this game.
To grab the game update, head over to the Play Store on your device or hit the source link to go buy it. It’s easily worth the two bucks. Tell us how you’re liking the new Google Play Games integration!
