According to Samsung CEO JK Shin, the Galaxy S 4 is on fire with sales expected to hit the 10 million mark less than four weeks after its launch. If Shin’s prediction is accurate and we suspect he would know best, the Galaxy S 4 will beat its predecessor, the Galaxy S III to the 10 million mark by almost three weeks.
“It is selling much faster than the previous model S3,” he said.
In other words, that report about the Galaxy S 4 being the fastest selling smartphone in company history was dead-on. The sales boost is likely due in part to the mammoth marketing campaign Samsung has put behind their flagship smartphone, including teaser videos with celebrities and Jeremy.
With the release of a vanilla Android Galaxy S 4 running Android 4.2.2 next month, it’s likely that Samsung will have plenty of more milestones to break as 2013 continues. We’re certain this won’t be the last we’ll hear from Shin about the Galaxy S 4.
