The city of Raytown, Missouri was recently selected as a candidate for Google Fiber (lucky), and it was up to the city itself whether Google would go through with its plans. And when time came to vote, the City Alderman (what a fun word!) did not disappoint. They ended up voting unanimously to bring Google Fiber to their area.
Don’t forget that bringing Google Fiber will take quite a long time. They will need to plan the entire thing, as well as build the network out. But while you won’t get it super fast, you will get it eventually and it will be great. So be excited!
